WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO SEQUOIA HIGH SIERRA CAMP?

Day packs are usually sufficient The Camp allows guests a unique way to explore Sequoia's forests, mountains, and meadows. By eliminating the need to carry shelter, bedding and related provisions, the Sequoia High Sierra Camp allows guests to tread lightly over wilderness trails. A day pack is usually sufficient to carry all the gear guests will need during their stay. All meals, snacks, linens ,towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided. Guest requiring valet service will be assisted by our staff. A nice selection of craft beer and imported wine is offered from an ala carte list.

Due to the hike in, we recommend that guests pack their belongings in easy to carry packs. Suitcases on wheels are advised against.

We recommend that guests bring:

  • Comfortable Shoes
  • Extra Socks
  • Warm pajamas
  • Gloves
  • Hats
  • Jacket (a puff down jacket is ideal)

Guests aren't required to pack much. Other items that guests may want to bring include:

  • Rain Gear
  • Poncho
  • Flashlight
  • Sunscreen
  • Refillable Water Bottle
  • Bug Spray
  • Camera & Extra Batteries
  • Binoculars
  • Day Pack for Hiking
  • Swimsuit (for swimming in the nearby lakes)
