Pack your own picnic lunch from our deli buffet to enjoy on a multitude of scenic day hikes - such as the popular 3-mile jaunt to the top of Mitchell Peak, known for panoramic views of Kings River Canyon and Monarch Divide.

Fly Fishing - The Camp is surrounded by creeks and lakes, and offers access to fishing on nearby hikes to Seville Lake and Rowell Meadows Creeks.
Some fly fishing equipment is available at the Camp, but guests are encouraged to bring their own.
A California State Fishing License is required for everyone 16 or older. Licenses are available at the Lodgepole Market Center in Sequoia National Park.

Star Gazing - The Camp is one of the best places to experience unobstructed views of the star studded sky! A high powered Orion Telescope is available for guest use, as well as a user friendly guide to identify the galaxies.You will be amazed by the dazzling beauty of the high-country sky!
Horseback Riding - The nearby Horse Corral Pack Station offers 1-hour, 2-hour, half-day and full-day guided horseback riding excursions for every level of rider (beginning to advanced). (We suggest that you make any riding arrangements in advance of your visit as there is no phone service available at the Sequoia High Sierra Camp).
Evening Campfire - Each night following dinner, we light a toasty warm campfire in our bonfire/social area. Curl up with a warm wool blanket, bring along your guitar, enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow camp guests - or just relax and enjoy the star studded evening skies and crisp mountain air.
Wildlife Watching - You'll want to take your binoculars to zoom in on the thrilling wildlife and majestic views of Kings River Canyon and Monarch Divide.
